Parti yn yr Ardd
9 fed Mehefin 2007.
Roedd hi’n benblwydd cynta Clwb Llanllawen.
Wnaeth Steve a Liz wahodd ni I’w Tŷ am barti yn yr ardd. Roedd y tywydd
yn braf ac yn boeth iawn. Wnaeth pawb gyrraedd tua tri neu bedwar o’r
gloch. Wnaeth Jan a Rachel groesawu pawb tu allan i’r tŷ efo gwen mawr, a
llyfrau o’r tocynau raffl. Roedd ‘na gasgen fawr o’r sudd ffrwydd o’r
nefoedd I yfed.
Wnaeth Lewis wneud y datganiadau, a deud croeso I bawb. Wnaethon ni
eistedd o gympas byrddau ar y lawnt, efo ein ffrindiau, yn siarad, yn
edrych ar yr olygfa dros y cwm, ac yn gwrando âr y gerddoriaeth gan “HOT
FOOT JAZZMEN”.
Roedd na gêmau I chwarae, a cnau goco I ennill.
Wnaeth y cig mochyn gyrraedd am bedwar o’r glock – a phan roedd o’n barod,
wnaethon ni fwyta fo efo salad, saws afal a stwffin. Blasus iawn! Wedyn ar
ôl mwy o gerddoriaeth, wnaethon ni fwyta sygonau mefus. Wnaeth y parti
orffen efo raffl.
Roedd ‘na lawer o wobrau. Wnaeth Myfi A Lewis wobrwyo I’r enillwyr – gan
gynnwys digon o letys!
Wnaeth pawb fwynhall y parti yn fawr iawn. Diolch o Galon I Steve a Liz a
diolch I bob cynorthwywyr

GARDEN PARTY
The Garden
Party on Saturday the 9thof June 2007 was a wonderful success, in the
surroundings of Bryn Llwyn Hall, Cynwyd and a fitting way to
celebrate the first year of Clwb Llanllawen - overlooking the
magnificent view of the welsh countryside.. Clwb Llanllawen has
grown in numbers and character in its’ first year with
“enthusiasm” being the keyword which bodes well for the future.
The weather, like the atmosphere, was absolutely marvellous, warm
and sunny with the drone of bees from the shrubs and plants the
call of Peacocks in the garden and the murmur of welsh being
practiced, not too well in some cases! The lawn was set out with
tables and chairs, sufficient for all of the guests and there was
a Marquee at the end of the lawn where a spread was laid out by
Steve and Liz, our hosts, with the help of various clwb members,
there was also the mighty pig already roasted on its' spit with
such an aroma that appetites were awakened and the queue formed
quickly to help demolish the mighty Pig! This was followed by
Strawberry's and cream and the other delights of a Welsh Summer
Tea. Beyond the Marquee there were games, coconut shy, find the
pink bottomed furry animal and the electronic test of eye and
hand. All this and we were royally entertained by The Hot Foot
Jazzmen, with youngsters of every age tapping their feet to the
rhythm of jazz at its best. The afternoon was rounded off with the
prize draw The Star prize being a Print donated by Alison Bradley,
several bottles of wine and various other prizes and almost last
there were lettuces, five of them and the Wrexham football club
year book. Myfi presented Liz and Steve with a bouquet of flowers
as a token of our thanks and appreciation for the invitation to
their home and all of the hard work that had made the afternoon
the success that it was - Myfi also thanked the other committee
members for their help Brian, Jan, Joy and everyone that had
helped.
